CronusIQ

Support

Support by CNC brand.

Practical connection notes for the machines on your floor — protocols, what you get live, and where to go next. Not enterprise fluff.

Haas

MTConnectLegacy I/O (edge)

How CronusIQ connects

Most Haas controls expose MTConnect over Ethernet. Point the CronusIQ edge at the machine IP, confirm the agent is enabled, and status streams within minutes. Older boxes without MTConnect can use digital I/O through the edge device.

What you get

  • Live run / idle / down
  • Utilization & spindle time
  • Downtime reasons from tablet

Mazak

MTConnectOPC-UA

How CronusIQ connects

Mazatrol / Smooth controls typically connect via MTConnect or OPC-UA. Add the machine in admin, select the protocol your control supports, and verify the live card before rolling out the cell.

What you get

  • Cell and machine status
  • OEE by shift
  • Alerts when a spindle sits idle too long

Okuma

MTConnectOPC-UATHINC / OSP

How CronusIQ connects

Okuma OSP / THINC shops usually land on MTConnect or OPC-UA. CronusIQ reads mode, program, and execution state so the board matches what the operator sees on the control.

What you get

  • Live status cards
  • Utilization trends
  • Shift summaries for handover

DMG Mori

MTConnectOPC-UACelos / FOCAS*

How CronusIQ connects

DMG Mori machines often speak MTConnect or OPC-UA; Fanuc-based controls can use FOCAS where available. We map execution state into the same run / idle / down language your floor already uses.

What you get

  • Multi-axis cell visibility
  • Downtime triage
  • Shop TV boards

Fanuc (Robodrill / controls)

FOCASMTConnect

How CronusIQ connects

Fanuc FOCAS is the workhorse for Robodrills and Fanuc-controlled mills/lathes. The edge talks FOCAS on the shop LAN; no cloud dependency required for local monitoring. MTConnect adapters are used when present.

What you get

  • Program & mode status
  • Utilization and cycle context
  • Fast connect for Fanuc-heavy floors

Doosan

MTConnectFOCASOPC-UA

How CronusIQ connects

Doosan / DN Solutions machines vary by control generation. We pick MTConnect, FOCAS, or OPC-UA based on what the control actually exposes — then treat it like every other card on the board.

What you get

  • Consistent status across mixed brands
  • OEE & downtime
  • Operator reason capture

Generic / other

MTConnectFOCASOPC-UALegacy I/O

How CronusIQ connects

Not on the list? If the control speaks MTConnect, Fanuc FOCAS, or OPC-UA, we can usually connect. For legacy machines with only dry contacts or spindle load signals, the edge device can infer run / idle / down from I/O.

What you get

  • Protocol-agnostic machine cards
  • Same dashboard for mixed floors
  • Path to upgrade later without rewiring the board

Stuck on a connection?

Bring the control model and network setup — we'll pick FOCAS, MTConnect, OPC-UA, or I/O and get a live card up.
