Install
Get started in a day.
Practical steps to put CronusIQ on your shop network, connect CNCs, and see live monitoring — without a six-month enterprise rollout.
- 1
Order / create account
Sign up or place an order for the machines you want to monitor. You’ll get login credentials and a short onboarding checklist for your shop network.
- Pick Base or Everything plan
- List machine count and controls
- Invite an admin user
- 2
Deploy edge device on shop network
Place the CronusIQ edge appliance (or approved gateway) on the same LAN/VLAN as your CNCs. Keep outbound access for updates if cloud sync is enabled; air-gapped options available.
- DHCP or static IP
- Firewall allowlist as needed
- Confirm reachability to machine ports
- 3
Connect machines (MTConnect / FOCAS / OPC-UA)
Add each CNC in admin. Choose the protocol your control supports — MTConnect, Fanuc FOCAS, or OPC-UA — and verify live status. Most shops are cutting with live data the same day.
- Haas, Mazak, Okuma, DMG, Fanuc
- Test one machine first
- Name cells for grouping
- 4
See the live dashboard
Open the shop-floor board on office browsers or TV displays. Dark TV mode for the floor, light mode for the office — utilization, downtime, and OEE on every card.
- Pin a TV URL
- Set alert thresholds
- Walk the board in standup
- 5
Optional: operator tablet, shifts, users
Roll out operator tablets for downtime reason codes, configure shift calendars for OEE, and invite supervisors and viewers with role-based access.
- Tablet kiosk mode
- Align shifts to payroll
- Operators vs viewers
